Residents witnessed giant hailstones as large as 7 centimeters in particular locations. Meteorological experts announced that different parts across Queensland had been impacted by large hailstones.

Response teams were attempting to repair electricity service throughout the affected regions, with nearly 70 crews deployed to address the widespread outages.

Meanwhile, nearly one thousand residents in Victoria also encountered power outages after the capital city saw its wettest day in a year and a half.
Rescue organizations handled over five hundred calls for help across the area, mostly for building damage but also for fallen timber and inundation.

At one point on yesterday, over twenty-eight thousand energy customers in Victoria were lacking electricity.

Humid circumstances were expected to linger along large portions of eastern Queensland this week as a weather pattern continued to attract humidity against the coast.
Tuesday was predicted as the heaviest precipitation period, with persistent storm activity predicted across different parts of both states.

Public health experts cautioned that there was an increased chance of weather-related respiratory issues across the northern rural areas, especially given the current weather patterns.
